Can a Lane Kiffin sacrifice finish Alabama’s season?

By the end of Wednesday, COVID-19 cases and precautions had taken out three SEC games. First was the one between Mississippi State and Auburn which was postponed on Monday. Then came the worries that LSU/Alabama was going to go after cases popped up with the Tigers. The same was with Texas A&M, after the school in College Station recorded positive cases on Monday . On Tuesday that was confirmed. LSU vs Alabama had been postponed, and so had Texas A&M vs Tennessee. The Auburn – Mississippi State was immediately moved to December 12th, where it will partner with LSU’s clash with Alabama and Vanderbilt’s trip to Missouri. But then comes the problem: Where do you stick the LSU vs Alabama

Prayers: Ole Miss player airlifted from practice

Ole Miss freshman tight end DaMarcus Thomas has been airlifted from practice in Oxford after an injury left him without any feeling in his body, according to reports. Thomas later was reported to have had a little feeling in his extremities, but prior to that, Lane Kiffin said: “Player potentially severely injured….was hit and hasn’t moved since. A helicopter’s on its way now. I’ve got to do my job for the game whenever it is but nothing seems very important right now.” The good news – now – is that feeling has returned to Thomas’ body. Ole Miss assistant AD Phil Jernigan tweeted: “Following the injury at practice this morning, Damarcus traveled by ambulance to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford

Week 6 SEC Preview: LSU – Auburn and A&M-Arkansas highlight the show

This week it’s normal one of the craziest games on the SEC Calendar: LSU vs Auburn. We’ve had burning buildings, missed kicks at the end, last-second touchdowns and the end of Les Miles’ tenure. The Geaux Tigers have won 3 in row and 7 of the last ten, but of those last three games, they’ve been settled by a TOTAL of eight points. With no-one thinking about both sides seriously, it should be fun to at least watch, praying for a Big 12 game to once again break out in Jordan-Hare (if you’ve got the over!). Elsewhere, one of the SEC West’s most underrated rivalries takes place at Kyle Field instead of Arlington, which is unfortunate bearing in mind just how awesome

Please note that past No.4, it’s basically a free-for-all until Vanderbilt….who are bottom. Alabama (5-0) The injury to Jaylen Waddle didn’t really slow down the Crimson Tide as they slaughtered Tennessee. Slade Bolden plugged in and put up 94 yards for just six catches. The rest of the Tide are awesome. Sure, there’s going

How good is Texas A&M? Week 4 SEC Power Rankings

After a poor game against Vanderbilt and a blow-out by Alabama, Texas A&M fans were fuming. They wanted Jimbo Fisher’s head on a plate. Some of the more racist elements of Texas A&M messageboards straight-up blamed Kellen Mond’s off-season civil rights activities for a reason why the school looked shabby. Florida was coming, and the season was going to go to the wolves. And then Florida came to town. In a messy, fun game, Florida was beaten, 41-38. Mond was brilliant, throwing for 338 yards and 3 TDs, and didn’t do anything stupid. A week later, they stopped Mississippi State’s ‘Air Raid’ offense in Starkville, and suddenly Texas A&M fans are talking about how they could pip Georgia to the
