  If I’m an Auburn fan, I wouldn’t understand why my team didn’t even bother interviewing Tony Elliott. Tony Elliott has been in charge of one of the biggest, brightest offenses in college football for 2015-2019, and has coached NFL star in Deshaun Watson, and the next NFL star in Trevor Lawrence. He’s been a master – and has been prettily paid for it by one of college football’s most elite programs. It’s easy to see why Elliott wasn’t even interviewed. It’s SEC Championship Game weekend, which would normally have us all focusing on CBS and watching the game, but guess what? There are other games. The Texas A&M vs Tennessee game is actually a more important game than the shindig in Atlanta. If Texas A&M beats Tennessee and Ohio State either struggles or doesn’t beat Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game, or if Notre Dame ‘does the double’ over Clemson in the ACC Championship Game, a win for Texas A&M over Tennessee would put the Aggies in the College Football Play-Off for the first time in the Aggies history.
