SEC Championship Game Preview + Other Games

It’s SEC Championship Game weekend, which would normally have us all focusing on CBS and watching the game, but guess what? There are other games. The Texas A&M vs Tennessee game is actually a more important game than the shindig in Atlanta. If Texas A&M beats Tennessee and Ohio State either struggles or doesn’t beat Northwestern in the Big Ten Championship Game, or if Notre Dame ‘does the double’ over Clemson in the ACC Championship Game, a win for Texas A&M over Tennessee would put the Aggies in the College Football Play-Off for the first time in the Aggies history. As for the game in Atlanta, Florida was so piss-poor against LSU that it’s hard to work out how they

He doesn’t take COVID-19 seriously – and then a ton of his players (as well as himself) got it, and he still hasn’t backtracked on his comments. He starts brawls, then turns up wearing a Darth Vader costume, because his knack of reading the room is exceptionally….bad. Heck, he doesn’t like the NCAA forcing his players to take a day-off on National Voting Day (Oh, and he seems to be OK with his wife giving players a kiss on the lips before games). But Dan Mullen is a very, very good offensive football coach. He promoted a walk-on to

Week 6 SEC Preview: LSU – Auburn and A&M-Arkansas highlight the show

This week it’s normal one of the craziest games on the SEC Calendar: LSU vs Auburn. We’ve had burning buildings, missed kicks at the end, last-second touchdowns and the end of Les Miles’ tenure. The Geaux TigersĀ have won 3 in row and 7 of the last ten, but of those last three games, they’ve been settled by a TOTAL of eight points. With no-one thinking about both sides seriously, it should be fun to at least watch, praying for a Big 12 game to once again break out in Jordan-Hare (if you’ve got the over!). Elsewhere, one of the SEC West’s most underrated rivalries takes place at Kyle Field instead of Arlington, which is unfortunate bearing in mindĀ just how awesome
