2023 Preview: Should Missouri fans prepare to be Miz-erable?

This is the first SEC Preview of the season, which will no doubt be edited thanks to the usual quarterbacking decisions, injuries and suspensions that proliferate schools.  Missouri gets everything going…. New ’24 schedule sets up some SEC monster clashes

The arrival of Texas and Oklahoma may have people fuming about the teams voting not to go to a nine game schedule, but this hasn’t stopped the SEC from putting together some monster clashes for the 2024 year, which will lack divisions. THE ‘WE JUST WALKED INTO A CAULDRON’ TEAM Texas will play Georgia and Florida at home, while going on the road to Arkansas (who hate their guts) and Texas A&M (who hate them even more). The Southeastern Conference is going to vote for an eight game schedule (including one permanent opponent), and the fans are going to be completely screwed. Harsin out at Auburn: Who’s next?

Finally, Bryan Harsin’s been fired at Auburn. After less than two seasons. The hire was hated by Auburn fans and boosters alike when AD Allen Greene – now departed – ignored the noise, went out West, and brought his coach in from Boise State. Honestly, writing this preview seems a little worthless bearing in mind Hurricane Ian and its effect on SEC territory. The University of Florida and their players will be watching the game with heavy hearts, bearing in mind the devestation around the State. South Carolina already got ahead of the game by playing South Carolina State on Thursday. It was a slaughter as Carolina won 50-10.
