SEC Week 7 Power Rankings: Georgia makes statement

If last week was a sleepy wander for the Georgia Bulldogs, this week was absolute savagery. Kentucky was destroyed 51-13, and that result was probably kind on them. Elsewhere, Alabama did their usual squeaking-by of Texas A&M, LSU got over the line in a shoot-out against Missouri, Ole Miss comfortably beat a terrible Arkansas team, Florida thumped a woeful Vanderbilt, and Mississippi State did something about Western Michigan. SEC Preview: Can Lane Kiffin get that big win (at last)?

Lane Kiffin runs his mouth a lot. But he has failed to follow up on it on so many occasions, it’s getting a joke. Week 3 SEC Preview: A underrated weekend

There’s an expression in Britain that says: “They’re a bit of a wanker”. It’s basically the same as what you’d say in the USA about someone being a jerk-off, but with less words. There are other terms: A pile of ‘wank’ (American translation: ‘Crap’), we ‘wanked all over them’ (American translation: Smashed them), ‘Wankered’ (American translation hammered), and ‘Wanky’. New ’24 schedule sets up some SEC monster clashes

The arrival of Texas and Oklahoma may have people fuming about the teams voting not to go to a nine game schedule, but this hasn’t stopped the SEC from putting together some monster clashes for the 2024 year, which will lack divisions. THE ‘WE JUST WALKED INTO A CAULDRON’ TEAM Texas will play Georgia and Florida at home, while going on the road to Arkansas (who hate their guts) and Texas A&M (who hate them even more). Ranking the Coaches on The SEC Hot Seat

This year was a weird year in the SEC, because only one coach was hired in the offseason, and that was the utterly polarizing, utterly dislikable Hugh Freeze by Auburn. We mourned the loss of Mike Leach, but almost immediately DC Zach Arnett replaced him, and then got the permanent job. So who’s job is under pressure in the SEC. We go from 1-12. SEC Week 6: Tennessee continues to drop jaws, Arkansas just drops

South Carolina scored the most stunning win of the SEC calendar in Week 6 when they beat Kentucky on their own turf. Also, Texas A&M was a dumbass decision away from upsetting Alabama for the second year in a row on its own turf in a game plagued by turnovers, while Georgia happily destroyed Auburn. Otherwise, Tennessee went to Death Valley and destroyed LSU 40-13, Mississippi State took advantage of a porous Arkansas secondary (to put it mildly), Florida beat Missouri and Ole Miss did what was expected of them by beating Vanderbilt with a strong second half performance. Anyway, here are our Week 6 rankings… Tennessee (5-0): We all thought this would be a tight game in Death Valley.
