Michigan CB Blake Countess has transferred to Auburn.

Countess will play in Jordan-Hare as a graduate student. He had 114 tackles for Michigan in 3 seasons, including 3.5 tackles for loss. He also had six interceptions during his career.

Countess’ best season was in 2013, where he recorded 46 tackles, two tackles for loss, six interceptions (returned for 169 yards) and a touchdown. He also had four passes defended.

Countess tweeted: “Excited to attack the next chapter in my life!”

The move by 5-10, 180lb Countess will strengthen Auburn’s secondary which has been decimated by injuries this off-season.
