If you are an Auburn and Arkansas fan, you had an intensely forgettable Saturday. Of course, Auburn survived mighty Jacksonville State -- in overtime -- with the rest of the SEC cheering on the Tigers to fall, while Arkansas comedically fell at 'home' to Toledo (2014 record: 9-4, 7-1 MAC). Elsewhere, Missouri and Florida struggled with Arkansas State and East Carolina respectively, Tennessee gave up a 17-0 lead to Oklahoma in the best atmosphere of the day in Neyland, and Les Miles was Les Miles (and LSU won despite it). Otherwise, Alabama, Georgia and Texas A&M pretty much cruised.
Anyway,

Right, so it's Christmas Day on Thursday, with Steve Spurrier dressed up in a garnet and black Santa costume, ready to deliver us all presents. It's going to be a phenomenal day out, and we can't wait. The biggest pity? South Carolina - and North Carolina - screwed over their season ticket holders by having the game in Charlotte. We'll be stunned if the stadium's sold out.
Anyway, here's our previews, in terms of importance. HINT: South Carolina vs North Carolina isn't No.1 on the list.
1) AUBURN VS LOUISVILLE
Trying to work out what the best game of the day was between this one and Texas

Les Miles was awesome when he took the podium at SEC Media Days.
Here are some of the best bits.
ON .....?
"It appears to me that some of the media have not shaved and have left their car running in the back parking lot, kind of ready to get off to fishing or wherever they're supposed to be off to. Scooter has way too much sun to be inside. I can tell you that, I did not bring tennis shoes. That is a product of a sports information director who knows that I have an attachment to those shoes. I'm wearing regular shoes and regular socks."
ON QUARTERBACKS
"I think Brandon Harris has

I miss my SEC Football. I miss my falls. I miss the summer. Everything's going far too slowly.
Hands up if you can't do another Saturday wedding. Or another Saturday visit to your parents or grandparents. Or another baseball game (and there's no college baseball anymore). Hands up if you're constantly checking the calendar and counting down to the first weekend of the college football season, and praying that God will bring it over at the speed of a Texas lightning storm.
Anyway, while you're waiting, here's 20 SEC-ish things to do during the dog days of summer....
1. Check up on recruiting
It's

We love Les Miles. We do. The grass-eating, kiss-you-all-on-the-mouth maverick coach pulls two or three results out his butt every year (and also loses a couple of games like that too!), loses talent every year, and still keeps LSU competitive.
He's a miracle worker in a place where miracles are much talked-about, because 13-0 is expected. And if not, he's the most hated coach in Louisiana, if not the South. LSU fans seemingly are never happy with Miles, even if they win.
Well, they might be a little more grateful for wins than most this season.
Why?
THE QUARTERBACK PROBLEM

There is a smell around Tiger Stadium, and despite what Katy Perry says, it’s not corndogs and it’s certainly not bourbon. It feels – and smells – like a funeral.
That shouldn’t be surprising, because Death Valley has prided itself on being the place where opposition teams’ – and their fans’ hopes go to die. Now, the fanbase- complete with a multi-million dollar new addition the stadium – are feeling the stench of the death upon them as a program, punch-drunk by successive monster losses, falls to its knees like a heavyweight boxer lit up by consecutive Mike Tyson punches.

We'd like to make it clear that there are some players that we've ALREADY seen (like Todd Gurley at Georgia), but we still can't wait to see them. This is a little different from "Top 10 SEC Freshmen" or "Top SEC Returning Players" because the freshmen are unproven. So we're sticking them all into one bag and throwing them all together.
Extra points if you can guess all 15 players that they might be 'The new'? Some we even had to look up?
So here's your freshmen and returners that we can't wait to see...
1) Leonard Fournette (RB, LSU): The new Dalton?
2) Maty Mauk (QB, Missouri): The

Stop if you've heard this before: LSU was ravaged by NFL Draft in 2013, and was ravaged by the NFL Draft in 2014. Les Miles lost NINE players for the 2013 season to the NFL Draft, and lost a further NINE to the 2014 Draft. And there were others who left for the NFL Draft and didn't find a suitor because they had such an overrated and crappy 2013 (we see you, Anthony 'The Freak' Johnson!). Anyway, Les Miles has had to reload yet again. So what's going to happen in 2014? Probably something crazy.

With your head coach being bats*** crazy (remember, this was a guy who let his TEAM

LSU head coach Les Miles is ALWAYS nothing short of entertaining when it comes to a press conference, and this year was no difference. Instead of picking out the juicy bits, the whole press conference was simply....awesome. And you'll find out Austin has no beach (I think he was pissed about being misinformed about Lake Austin), and that his daughter's a helluva ballplayer.
Anyway, the guys at ASAP (I got this via the Twitter of Barrett Sallee at Bleacher Report) faithfully wrote up this press conference, and we thought we'd simply show it to you in all its glory.
And warning: The first

LSU capped a fantastic National Signing Day with the signing of Leonard Fournette - the No.1 player in the nation and the No.1 running back.
Fournette, a running back from New Orleans, was always relaxed about signing for LSU, wearing school clothing even before class to relax the worried Tiger faithful.
Such was his size, Fournette's press conference got some on Twitter saying: "You can't tell me [he's] an 18-year old man".
But before that, WR Malachi Dupre from John Curtis - the country's No.1 wide receiver, also declared that he was going to be a Tiger and "bring a National Championship
