Here are our SEC Football Blog Power Rankings after Week 1 of the season.
Alabama -- They are going to be OK with Derrick Henry running behind that offensive line.
Texas A&M -- Playing to a home crowd at Kyle Field Houston certainly helped. A lot. But this defense, led by Myles Garrett, was looking changed, talented and great.
Georgia -- If they stay healthy, Nick Chubb, Keith Marshall and Sony Michel will be a three-headed running back monster for SEC defenses to stop.

People laugh at Clemson for managing to choke the big games away, but let's be honest, Georgia's as bad as Clemson is. They lost to South Carolina and Florida despite being overwhelming favourites, and didn't get to the SEC Championship Game, thanks to Missouri - a team they beat - managing to only lose to....(you guessed in) Georgia.
Despite losing Todd Gurley to the NFL, hopes are high, thanks to Nick Chubb. But there are a lot of things for Mark Richt to do before that....

It's only the start of June, but we can't wait for the start of the SEC season. We here at the SEC Football Blog LOVE the College World Series (with half of the field coming from the SEC, what good Southerner couldn't?), but we still can't wait until the Fall. And for the temperatures to drop a little.

Aaron Murray’s graduation is going to leave a monstrous hole at QB for the Georgia Bulldogs. But all new QB Hutson Mason may have to do is hand the ball off to Heisman contender Todd Gurley, and the Dawgs - armed with a strong linebacking corps, could be in the mix for a trip to Atlanta as SEC East Champion
