Georgia WR goes down in practice

Georgia wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley has gone down in practice with what appears to be a knee injury. According to Macon.com, Scott-Wesley - who had knee surgery in the off-season - injured his right knee while appearing to run a normal route in practice. The video can be seen here. We wouldn't be surprised if this latest injury will see Scott-Wesley retire from football. There's only so much punishment a knee can take, after all. Georgia's news after the Tennessee was as bad as feared: star running back Keith Marshall and star wide receiver Justin Scott-Wesley are both out for the year. Georgia secondary ripped apart by injuries

The best news for Clemson fans came from Athens, UGA on Tuesday, when it emerged that the entire Georgia secondary is nursing injuries at the moment, per a report from the Macon Telegraph, quoting Bulldogs head coach Mark Richt. According to Richt, starting cornerback Damion Swann (hip flexor and groin strain) and cornerback Sheldon Dawson - who is thought of as being the starting cornerback (shoulder sprain) were both limited in practice. A lot of South Carolina fans were fearing that the junior running back's sickening injury in the Gamecocks' victory over Tennessee on Saturday would mean an end to their player's school - and NFL - career.
