If you hadn’t noticed, this week in the SEC has its fair share of antagonism. And we love it. On all three days of the Thanksgiving Holiday. And you know what? We’re thankful for it! We love Alabama fans screwing with Auburn fans, and vice-versa. With both proving equally touchy. We love Ole Miss and Mississippi State fans screwing with each other. SEC Head Coaches: Who’s on the Hot Seat?

S Anyway, our 1-14 of SEC Coaches on the Hot Seat. Hint: If you’re No.14, you’re probably not going to get fired. Other hint: Some of the reasons are just stupid. 1) Will Muschamp (Florida): The offense is useless. The defense is useless. The last two punches in the face will be hit up for 40 by a Florida legend (Steve Spurrier), and hit up for 60 by your hated rival (Florida State). You know, after losing in laughable fashion to Miami and Vanderbilt, and losing to Georgia 3 times in a row. 2) Dan Mullen (Mississippi State): The Bulldogs have gone downhill ever since mid-season 2012. The Bulldogs can’t beat a Top-10 team. Heck, they can hardly beat anybody.

Gamecocks Suddenly Back in SEC race: Week 9 SEC Power Rankings

This week wasn’t exactly that weird in the SEC. Missouri’s heart was broken by their kicker (and their defense, we’d like to add), but after that, Vandy was crushed by Texas A&M (who still gave up 24), Alabama slammered Tennessee (see what we’ve done there?), Auburn beat the ‘over’ against Florida Atlantic, and LSU was asleep in the first half against Furman (went 7-0 and 10-7 down before exploding and winning out 48-16)….but it didn’t cost them. Jeez Louise, it’s Week 7 of the 2013 College Football season already. At SEC Football Blog Towers, I’m already crying my eyes out that the season is over….and it hasn’t gone yet! After Alabama wins, Game Of The Century’, Ole Miss Macks Texas: Week 3 SEC Power Rankings

Sooo…..Alabama beat Texas A&M in the ‘Game Of The Century’, while Ole Miss beat Texas 43-23 to pour on the pressure on tired, beaten and sad-looking Mack Brown, and Kentucky surprised us by only losing to Louisville by 14. And Tennessee surprised nobody by getting annihilated at Oregon. Anyway, here’s our SEC Power Rankings:  1. Alabama – Alabama’s win over Virginia Tech and at Texas A&M is a better 2-game schedule than LSU’s wins over TCU, Kent State and UAB. Guz Malzahn returning to Auburn: Reports

The man who made Cam Newton a star and masterminded Auburn’s 2011 National Championship is back in the SEC, reports have said. Gus Malzahn, who coached the Tigers between 2009 and 2010 as the offensive co-ordinator, went to Arkansas State in 2011. His offensive out-put has been absolutely frightening – and Auburn will be hoping for the same return to fireworks after the horrific season of 2012, in which Auburn won no SEC games and fired coach Gene Chizik.
