Alabama RB ruled ineligible
Freshman Alabama running back DeSherrius Flowers has been ruled ineligble and will not enroll in Tuscaloosa in the fall, the school has said. The school found an eligibility issue which means he will not be cleared to enroll. Alabama is deep at running back with Derrick Henry and Kenyan Drake, but four-star recruit Flowers, from Mobile, AL, would have been quite a weapon for the future. 6ft-1, 211lb Flowers was ranked as the 5th-best player in Alabama and the 15th-best running back in the nation, and 146th-best player in the nation overall.
