Can a Lane Kiffin sacrifice finish Alabama’s season?

By the end of Wednesday, COVID-19 cases and precautions had taken out three SEC games. First was the one between Mississippi State and Auburn which was postponed on Monday. Then came the worries that LSU/Alabama was going to go after cases popped up with the Tigers. The same was with Texas A&M, after the school in College Station recorded positive cases on Monday . On Tuesday that was confirmed. LSU vs Alabama had been postponed, and so had Texas A&M vs Tennessee. The Auburn – Mississippi State was immediately moved to December 12th, where it will partner with LSU’s clash with Alabama and Vanderbilt’s trip to Missouri. The Worst Coaching Hires At Each SEC School

A few days after he was announced as the head coach of Arizona State, I put a tweet out that basically said how much the hire sucked. I wasn’t the only one. After last Saturday’s stunning win over Oregon, I might well have been wrong. That got me thinking to hirings that have happened in the SEC…..and the bad ones. SEC teams and their No.1 overall NFL draft picks

A lot of players who come out of the SEC make good NFL players. Some even make Hall of Fame players. But it’s strange to think that the biggest college football powerhouse in the SEC – Alabama – hasn’t had a No.1 overall draft pick since 1948. So it got us thinking: When was the last time every SEC school had a first overall pick? For some it was very recently (Myles Garrett, Texas A&M 2017), and for some (ie Arkansas, Florida, Missouri), they are still waiting. Ranking The Best Entrances in the SEC

It’s 99 days to go until the college football season starts, and we’re pretty excited. So excited, in fact, that we’re ranking all of the entrances/pregame traditions in the SEC. And we’re not talking about tailgating! 1. Running Through The ‘T’ – Tennessee Neyland Stadium. Night. The crowd has already drunken itself to a stupor. The Pride Of The Southland Band forms a T. The team runs through it. 2.  ‘War…..Eagle’ – Auburn Not EXACTLY the entrance, but letting Spirit The Eagle out as the crowd screams “War Eagle” is one of the best traditions in sports. Spirit The Eagle then hitting a luxury box in 2011 might just be one of college football’s greatest highlights, though.
