Arkansas, Vandy get huge O-Linemen commitments

Arkansas and Vanderbilt have both scored huge offensive linesmen commitments. 6-7, 270lb Kellen Diesch from Byron Nelson High School in Trophy Club, TX is ranked as the 83rd-overall players in Texas, the 48th overall offensive linesman and 575th player in the country overall. Vanderbilt’s big commitment for the weekend was from 6-7, 305lb Devin Cochran from Greater Atlanta High School in Norcross, GA. Cochran is ranked the 84th overall player in Georgia and the 79th overall offensive tackle in the country. He is also ranked the 906th overall player in the country. Alabama gets Louisiana commitments for 2016 and 2018

Louisiana safety Joshua Perry and offensive tackle Dare Rosenthal both committed to Alabama on Monday. Perry, a three-star athlete from Amite, is 6-2 and 185lbs, is ranked the country’s 39th-best safety by 24-7sports.com. He’s also ranked the 37th-best player in Louisiana. LSU, Ole Miss and Mississippi State all offered Perry, before the player made his decision to come to Tuscaloosa. Rosenthal, is a 6-7 giant, weighing 290lbs. According to 24-7, he’s already had 25 coach visits, and 25 offers, including LSU. It could be a huge get.

Safety de-commits from Florida…and flips to UGA

Safety Deontai Williams has de-committed from Florida, and instead has set his sights to play for Georgia. The 6-0, 175lb Williams, who hails from Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, FL, was rated 3-stars by 24-7sports.com, who were the first to report the news. Georgia’s new defensive co-ordinator Jeremy Pruitt was given the credit for ‘flipping’ Williams. Williams was also given offers by LSU, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, Louisville, Boise State, and Purdue amongst others. Louisville had been named early leaders. Williams follows up from the commitment of 6-3, 190lb WR Shaquery Wilson from Coral Gables, FL. Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Virginia and Louisville were among the teams to have offered Wilson, a 3-star player.
