Auburn 2015 Preview: Is this the Tigers’ year?

After starting the season 5-0, a lot of was expected of Auburn when they went to Mississippi State. After losing 38-23, it was obvious that something was missing from Gus Malzahn’s team….a good defense. And for the rest of the season, the defense rotted, basically mailing it in against Georgia and Alabama. Of course, Ohio State will thank Auburn for exposing the Crimson Tide’s weak secondary (they did the same thing a few weeks later), but this team was a real disappointment, culminating in a 34-31 loss to coach-less Wisconsin. Mississippi State 2015 Preview: Dak Attack!

Last season was a stunning one for Mississippi State. They went to No.1 in the polls. They beat LSU on the road for the first time in their history. They had their second 10-win season in their history. Their QB, Dak Prescott, was a Heisman contender. OK, so underestimating the Bulldogs was our mistake, Starkville. OFF-SEASON Dak Prescott had an awful Spring Break when he was blindsided by some douchebag in Panama Beach. He didn’t press assault charges, which is a shame. He should have done. Tennessee 2015 Preview: Joshua Dobbs The Savior?

If we hear that Tennessee is back one more time, we will scream. Seriously. Could they be great this year? We will see. LAST YEAR There was an awful lot of hype that the Vols would beat Florida (when, let’s face it, you couldn’t have had a better opportunity) and cause Missouri a hell of a lot of problems. SEC Preview 2015: Can Connor Mitch solve Cocks Problems?

With Jadeveon Clowney moving off to the NFL, the South Carolina Gamecocks had a poor 2014, finishing 7-5 and 3-5 in the SEC, which including a blow-out losses to Texas A&M and Clemson, and getting outclassed by Kentucky. They beat Georgia in a rainstorm and squeaked by Florida, but overall, this wasn’t a great year for the Gamecocks. Alabama 2015 Preview: Crimson Tide Rollin’ To SEC Title?

  You know you’ve built a dynasty when every year, people are talking about the Alabama Crimson Tide and mentioning the words “National Title”. In fact, it’s a disappointment when they DON’T get to the final game. Georgia 2015 Preview: Roaring Bulldogs?

      People laugh at Clemson for managing to choke the big games away, but let’s be honest, Georgia’s as bad as Clemson is. Ranking The Top 10 running backs in the SEC

  If it’s quarterbacks the SEC lacks, it’s running backs we are overflowing with. Leonard Fournette, Derrick Henry, Nick Chubb….the list runs on. It’s probably the hardest list we’ll have to do all season (that and the “Who’s going to win the SEC West” poll). Anyway, here’s our Top 10…. 1. Leonard Fournette (LSU) 6-1, 250lbs and very, very fast, Fournette ran for 1,034 yards and 10 TDs, and also had seven receptions for 127 yards. Alabama RB dismissed after drug arrest while on suspension

Alabama has dismissed running back Tyren Jones after he was arrested in Tuscaloosa on Monday, continuing a horrible streak of arrests for the Crimson Tide. Jones – who was already on suspension from the Alabama team for “conduct not the standard of the Alabama football program” -was arrested for possession of marijuana after his car was stopped for speeding just before midday on Monday. The officer found the marijuana – as well as digital scales belonged to the man in the car with Jones, Brandon Lee Hansberry. Jones was charged with possession of marijuana second degree. This is the third arrest for Nick Saban’s team in four days, following the arrest of Jonathan Taylor on domestic violence charges and Geno Smith

2014 SEC Preview: Where is Texas A&M going to be without Johnny Football?

The last two years in Texas A&M history haven’t been the most successful, but hell, they’ve been the most fun. That’s because Johnny Manziel was there, tearing up the SEC, stealing the headlines, winning a Heisman, and giving heart attacks to every head coach and defensive co-ordinator he faced. Georgia, Notre Dame agree home-and-home

In a refreshing change from the ‘Big Home Game In A NFL Dome/Ireland/England/France (you wait! It’s coming!)’, Georgia and Notre Dame have agreed one of the biggest home-and-homes in their history.
