Texas A&M beats Texas, OU to 4-star DE

Texas A&M has added the commitment of four-star defensive end Mark Jackson.

The Aggies beat Oklahoma and Texas to Jackson’s commitment. 6-2, 226lb Jackson hails from Steele High School in Cibolo, TX.

Jackson is rated as the 9th-best weakside defensive end in the nation, 28th-best player in the State of Texas and 179th-best player in the USA overall by 247Sports.com.

Aside from Oklahoma and Texas, Jackson was also offered by Missouri, Notre Dame, Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, and UCLA and was also recruited by Stanford and LSU, but not offered.
