Florida picks up Juco commitment

The Florida Gators have picked up the commitment of junior college running back Mark Thompson.

The 6-2, 230lb player from Wyncote, PA, who is currently studying at Dodge City Community College, KS runs a 4.37 40-yard dash, and has had offers from Louisville, Iowa and Iowa State.

Thompson played ten games for Dodge City, running for 460 yards and 8 TDs. He also had over 100 yards receiving on 11 receptions. He was also used as a kick returner, taking kicks back for a total of 275 yards on 15 attempts.
