Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen had another recruiting coup on Wednesday when he beat Ole Miss to four-star defensive tackle Briston Guidry.

Guidry, who plays at Archbishop Rummel in Metairie, LA, is 6ft2 and weighs 265lbs, and will play for Dan Mullen’s 2016 class.

Guidry had also been offered by Tennessee, Louisville and Southern Miss, and recruited by but not offered by LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, and Texas A&M.

He is rated the 15th overall player in Louisiana, and 24th among defensive tackles in the country by 24-7Sports.com.
