South Carolina beats Clemson to 4-star QB commitment
South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier garnered himself another dual-threat quarterback when he got the commitment of 4-star dual-threat quarterback Lorenzo Nunez.
Nunez, who hails from Kennesaw, GA, is considered the eighth-best dual threat QB in the country, and best in the state at his position. He is considered the 199th best overall play in the country and 19th best in Georgia.
He tweeted: “A huge thanks to all the schools that recruited me and all the fans that supported me. I am committing to the University of South Carolina.”
Nuez plays for Harrison High School, and was also recruited by NC State, Clemson, Miami and Ohio State, according to 247 Sports.
